PLAYING TENNIS

Students are encouraged to participate in match play from an early age and can make an easy transition into competitive tennis by becoming a playing member of Greenacres Tennis Club.

 
Orange, Green and Yellow Ball inter-club competition is on offer on Saturday morning, and matches are played HOME and AWAY.

Red  Ball Rumble is a new program, aiming to create a transparent pathway  between coaching, schools and club tennis. For those coaching, this is a  great way to put what you are learning in to play.

Fast facts:

• Kids aged from 5 to 10 years
• 45 minute program Make friends with a fun, easy beginner program
• A game sense approach to learning, and a focus on each and every child fostering a love for tennis 

Matthew Owens is an approved Sporting Schools provider.

Matt Owens Tennis School welcome  the opportunity  to deliver tennis clinics in schools.  Working with teachers to ensure students achieve the  necessary outcomes within the curriculum.     

Sporting Schools grants can assist with funding for clinics for Primary and Secondary schools.

Greenacres Tennis Club played in a combined district (North East Tennis Association and Eastern Districts Tennis Association) administered by Tennis SA. Winter and Summer competition is played Saturday afternoons.
